Phoenix County Metals specialise
in the reclaim of precious metals from a variety
of sources including electro plating solutions,
plated scrap, resins, inks, pastes and electronic
components i.e. circuit boards, pins, plugs
etc., alloys and high grade residues.
These materials mainly arise from the Military,
Electroplating, Pharmaceutical, Printed Circuit
Board, Electronic Component and other high-tech
manufacturing industries.
The techniques used will vary according to
the metals being recovered and the media in
which they are present. We have full in-house
facilities for chemical, electro-chemical
and pyrolytic processes along with an analytical
laboratory for measuring precious metal concentrations.
The principle metals recovered are Gold, Silver,
Palladium, Platinum and Rhodium.
As part of our service package, and in order
to ensure that our customers adhere to current
legislation, we are able to provide assistance
when the transportation of Hazardous Waste
is involved. This can include completion of
Environment Agency Consignment Notes, Controlled
Waste "Duty of Care" Consignment
Notes and where necessary transport labels
and hazard diamonds for materials which are
classified as "Dangerous Goods".
